Access To Your Exported Courses From the VPN

Check the shared drive for exported courses through the VPN
Follow this method of course access when you are working on a computer that is not an SCCC assigned office computer.
Note: You will need to download and save (store) the file on a hard drive or a memory stick.
WHAT FILES WERE DISTRIBUTED BY OIT
Distribution of D2L courses include: Spring, Fall, and Summer 2013. Some folders will contain courses from the 2012 academic year as we used them to test the distribution process.
All other courses may be exported from D2L by using the Import/Export/Copy tool. See the Exporting D2L Courses handout for further instruction.
What won’t be exported?
- Grades: all gradebooks must be exported separately.
- Learning Objects: either need to be downloaded individually or imported into the content area by selecting “import as content” and then exported with the course.
- Quizzes: Question Library: there is a limit of 499 questions per export, if you receive errors when exporting deselect some of the quiz questions (modify) during export
- Dropbox: student files must be downloaded if needed.
