Instructional Media using Films on Demand

by Dawn Wing

Interested in incorporating engaging media into your instruction?

Explore our newly subscribed web-based digital delivery platform Films on Demand (FOD).

FOD allows you to view streaming videos from Films Media Group anytime, anywhere, 24/7.

Thousands of videos, covering various content areas, are available for in-class use and remote viewing from the library and at home.

These high-quality streaming videos can be accessed by librarians, faculty, and students through the Library homepage and Blackboard.

Key FOD features include:

  • searching for videos by transcript
  • enabling closed captioning
  • organizing  and bookmarking clips
  • customizing video segments
  • sharing playlists
  • integrating video links in Blackboard

To find FOD from the Library homepage, click on the “Streaming Media” drop-down menu, and select “Films on Demand.”

*Please note, for optimal on-campus viewing, use Internet Explorer as your web browser.
